Walks - Cleland & Mt Lofty

The Cleland Conservation Park is one of the great assets of Adelaide. The area presents many different and varied walking options, making it a most popuar destination. The best known walk is the "The Kiosk" to "Summit". At Mt Lofty. the view over Adelaide is stunning. It is a frequent show case stop for visitors to our city.

    The walks of the greater My Lofty take in regions from The Barossa, Moriatla and Belair. The Linear Park, along the Torrens Valley and walkd down at Hallet Cove show case the abundance of opportunity close to Adelaide. There are many good guide books available including the Nature Conservation Society of SA's 20 Nature Walks in the Mt lofty Ranges and Kym Tilbrook's WALKSA Volumes I and II which are available form our store.

    The walks of the Northern Flinders Ranges are considered to be among the best in Australia. The areas around Wilpena and Arkaroola, while being along way away reward the walker in spades. Other areas, such as the Mambray Creek Mt Remarkable region are attractive because they are a reasonable 3 hours away. You should also not forget the Deep Creek area to the South of Adelaide and the real gem at Port Lincoln. Enjoy what South Australia has to offer!
